Backups have been restored and new backups are available dated today at 3pm and on. Customers can request restores from the date of their choosing for a nominal fee. In the event of a server failure, restores are completely free to our customers. We continue to use sbak, our own open source backup software.

We have discovered that our office telephone system has not been routing calls as expected. We are aiming to have our telephone system and backups fully functional by the end of today. As usual, our end-user-service is working flawlessly. Web service, and telephone services provided to our customers are 100% up and running.

Our backup-network center is moving. As a result, backups will not be available until Thursday June 18, 2009.

Obstacles gone have upgraded our servers to protect against http://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2009-1185 This vulnerability allowed users to obtain root access, and perform denial of service attacks. Check with your ISP to make sure they have upgraded.
