We put in our application to sourceforge today to host our project, sbak, as a GPL licensed project. Fingers crossed, we’ll be checking in source code for the public to use in the next day or two.

sbak enables you to easily backup remote servers with a simple command line. The backups can be automated, and sbak uses hard-links to make your backups consume as little space as possible.
